For Valentines Day- I had to make over 50 cookie lollipops. I was only going to make 12 for noah's class, but then Jackson wanted some to take in addition the big bag of candy he talked me into buying. As if I don't have enough homework already, they both had to make or decorate their Valentine box! What happened to using a paper grocery bag that they decorate at school!!!?? Jackson had a little girl ask him to be his Valentine. He told her "no." She asked him several times and when she said please he agreed. But only because she kept "bugging" him about it.

Valentine Snow Day
This post took a bit longer to get up than I had originally planned. I took pictures and videos though. And since those are few and far between lately, I have to post them! Jackson had a Snow Day on the Friday before Valentine's Day. I wish I could have gotten Jack and Noah's discussion about Snow angels on video. I couldn't hear them talking but I watched Jackson stand right in front of Noah doing "Jumping Jacks"- in slow motion. Then he would point to the ground, wave his arms around some more, point, wave, and so on. When his demonstration was over, he was all ready for NOAH to be the guinea pig and try it out. But, Noah didn't fall for it. So,Jackson caved and made his first snow angel. It was really cute. The rest of their play was spent throwing snow balls. Micah was getting over a cold. So, he and I stayed inside. Where we were safe!!

Mardi Gras
I took the boys to the Mardi Gras parade. We didn't stay long because it was so cold. I made sure to bring an umbrella, which we strategically set on the ground. And it filled up with "throws" quickly. Micah had a great time playing with the "beans". The umbrella caught a bunch of Moonpies, which was a new discovery for him. I think he ate 5! . . .and I let him.

Christmas
This video is a little long considering it's content but, it's Noah! For those of you who don't know, Noah is the blonde in the red shirt (his sleeves are unbuttoned!) and he looks every bit like his Daddy and nothing like his Mommy.
P.S. I want a Flip for christmas!

Thanksgiving 2009
We had a great time on our Thanksgiving vacation! We spent a lot of time with grandparents and cousins, as well as being tourists! This trip inspired me to make fudge for some reason. This year we rented a cabin that was way up in the winding mountains of Pigeon Forge. It took us ten minutes to get up the mountain. I'm so thankful that it didn't snow because we would have been stuck. Here are a few pictures. I will post more soon. Happy Holidays everyone!!

Sick, Sick, Sick, Sick, Sick
Sorry, no pictures today.
We have all been sick this past week. It started out with the boys. They all seemed to have different symptoms of a sinus infection. So I took them all to the doctor(at the same time). I was proud of myself. They were all put on antibiotics and got to stay home from school.
Then, I got sick with what seemed to be the flu. Very gross! I can't remember ever being so sick. I'm extremely thankful that the boys have not shown any symptoms of the flu. I hate it when they vomit........on the floor, bed. etc.
And poor Greg has been SuperDaddy through the whole thing and he hasn't been feeling well either. He seems to have caught everything that we all had (even thought HE got his flu shot)and has managed to keep working. And "detailed" the house!!! The boy just won't take a day off.
We are looking forward to cub scout night at the Hockey Game and our trip to Gatlinburg in a few weeks.

Samuels visit
This is a video that I made for Laura while she was in the hospital. Samuel is staying with me while she is gone and he is having a great time. I'm sorry for the poor quality but I'm having to use my "picture taking" camera because my real video camera does not have a usb.
